There was a lot to see and do even for off season. Just a short train ride to Rome and then connections to Pisa, Naples, or other destinations. My husband and I have no complaints."

Location-wise, it’s a bit rural, however we found the public transport is easy to use, a bus will take you to the metro station, then you can easily go anywhere from there. Rome has good public transportation system, one ticket can take you anywhere so long as it’s within 90 minutes. For...
