"Beautiful room ! Clean and comfortable. Bathroom was spotless with everything you needed for your stay, including slippers ! Warm bathroom with hot water which you might think goes without saying, but the previous night we stayed in a hotel without either of those things. Parking onsite which was such a bonus. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Couldn’t fault this hotel at all. We had a beautiful courtyard room which in the summer would be lovely to sit outside. Very good value for money. Wouldn’t...

"We had a fabulous room, which was ready for us when we arrived at 1130. The bathroom was huge and I had a bath, as requested. Disappointingly, the bath plug was faulty and although staff promised to replace, it remained faulty so I was unable to have a bath which I had looked forward to. Breakfast staff still not listening to specific requests - the food is amazing but far too much of it, and I hate waste!"

"First, you can't check in till 5pm. Second, the shower is small and slippery when wet. When I mentioned that I'd nearly fallen twice and it needed a non-slip mat, I was told can't be done as this would be an admission that there is a problem. Plus, the light in the bathroom is on a motion sensor timer and kept cutting out leaving me in the shower, in the dark. "Nice place but needs some tlc and rooms were cold. Swimming pool was nice and warm but very shallow (1.2m) and quite small. Breakfast was good and resturant was nice. "

All staff tried hard but were overstretched. At breakfast many things were only available if asked for. Evening meals not good value for money. This is not a 4 star hotel. "
