"Great location, close to many restaurants and bars. About 2 blocks from the plaza. The rooms all face inside so you can’t open window for ventilation. There was no AC. We asked for a fan and that helped a lot. It was quiet and they held our luggage before snd after check in/out. Would recommend."

"We spent three nights at Katari hotel in Arequipa (May 2026). You can't beat the location, right on the central plaza! They serve a very nice breakfast (made to order) on the open-air terrace overlooking the Plaza de Armas. It was so peaceful and lovely. We also had drinks at sunset from the same terrace. Loved it! The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable and the shower had good pressure and hot water (although there was one day when it was not as hot). From the hotel...

"The Hotel is centrally located and very nice. What makes it excellent are the staff . They are amazing and friendly . They even made us a take away breakfast bag because our flight was early on leaving. We have not had this kind of dedicated service in the USA for years .
