"The property and rooms were clean. For an older style hotel it has been maintained well. The rooms are smaller but still good for a couple. It is conveniently located close to historic downtown Canon City and the Royal Gorge Route Railroad station. The Arkansas River is also walking distance."

"We loved this hotel! They’ve updated this hotel nicely. The location was less than a block from Salida Adventures which is the lovely company we used for white water rafting. The location is also only 1.5 miles from riverside park and downtown. The room was remodeled well! We had so much room for our family of five. We did purchase our own paper products and dish soap to have plates to eat on and paper towels and a way to clean everything. The beds were comfortable and our little one said...
