"Customer Service was Excellent shout out to Matthew @check in accommodating early check in/out with Marriott Rewards. Riley in the bar provided Excellent customer service on our last day as well. "Populus is beautiful and the attention to detail is amazing! Do not miss the rooftop bar with incredible views! The breakfast is amazing and I can’t say enough about the friendliness of every staff member I encountered. I have stayed in numerous nice hotels in downtown Denver and this will absolutely be my first choice from now on!"

"The reviews are way too harsh for this hotel. Stayed the weekend for the Broncos game and enjoyed every bit of the stay! The staff at the front were very kind and the location was great. The room wasn’t perfect, but for the price it was absolutely worth it. The free breakfast was pretty tasty as well! No issues whatsoever. Sure, the place is old, but it gives it character and makes it feel like you’re living in the 70s!"

"At first I thought we had booked to far from downtown. This was a quick walk to the action. Had zero issues at the hotel. Roof top pool. Bonus. Can’t provide a con about the place. Bed was nice. Book and enjoy! This was the last stay (9 days, 6 stays). We stayed 3 nights. "

"Stayed for one-night while in town for a show at Boettcher Concert Hall. Beautiful lobby and quick check-in with not issues getting into our room early. Our room wasn't very large but was laid out very efficiently. CClean, quiet, comfortable bed and excellent shower. We had dinner at Corinne, which was very convenient, great service and a very nice meal. Definitely recommend making reservations in advance, as it's quite popular.
