"This hotel does exactly what it claims to do. It’s good value, no frills and centrally located. Our rooms were in the basement and had no windows. It was a little claustrophobic, but I was so jet lagged I didn’t think about that too much. The room is a little bleak, but clean and fairly modern. There’s a good shower, and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for a very long time. The hallways are a little grim (the paint, the carpet, the lighting etc) and smelt of sewage on the morning of departure - however this could have been a guest that did it. Overall, good value - if you can get your head around the basement rooms with no windows."

Guy at the front desk was a bit odd, we arrived slightly earlier than normal check in time and had enquired whether it was possible to check in early but wasn’t fussed either way and he kind of made out that we were inconveniencing him. Odd customer service behaviour. Wasn’t particularly friendly and spoke very quietly so hard to communicate with."
