"I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and it was a wonderful experience. The rooftop bar was lovely. I ordered the chicken tandoori lollipops, the pepperoni & mozzarella di bufala flatbread, & a margarita 10/10. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They were happy to give suggestions about the menu. Front desk was a total sweetheart.. I didn’t catch her name, but she was slim, petite, with short hair and a real pretty smile. "The Citizens Hotel is very conveniently located in an attractive historic building very tastefully upgraded and decorated. Had breakfast in The Grange which was delicious."

"The room was small, but comfortable. It was noisy outside early in the evening but quieter later on. The person at the reception desk seemed a little impatient and not very friendly. Parking was not inexpensive and the parking spots in the garage were spaced very close together. The open central area was spacious and comfortable. Overall this was an OK experience but I might look somewhere else the next time I stay in the area."

"The staff were great!! The room was fun with views of the river . Sea-lions sun bathing and ducks swimming. Breakfast was great ! Dining rooms have views of the river."

"The couch pull-out bed was a joke. Creaky, soft, saggy, metal from mattress frame sticking up into back. Got no sleep. And the wall-mounted AC was so loud, it was a huge distraction. No peace, no sleep. Not an enjoyable stay."
