"We splurged on our last night in Madrid and stayed at the Only You Boutique Hotel. The staff is as friendly and gorgeous as the rooms are! The entire hotel is set decorated like a Wed Anderson film (but less annoying — lol). Location is pretty spectacular — close to everything we wanted to see. "The two young women at the reception desk were wonderful and so was their manager, another lady. The two guys in the evening shift were always looking at their screens and never paid attention who was going or coming. Good location, a big supermarket justtsround the corner and there are restaurants snd cafes nearby. Basically, you could easily walk just about anywhere in the center of Madrid. "

"The AM reception looked strict, tired and even the Reception manager was neither genuinely friendly nor being helpful. Except the old lady, the rest of housekeeping staffs we encountered hardly smiled and did not even reply the simple greetings (like hello or good morning). We took a taxi in the morning ... the hotel staff just dropped the 6+ big luggage to the taxi driver (when none of us was there yet to attend our luggage); he didn’t help carry any of them to the car and luckily they’re not...

"Staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and not cramped. The shower was great--with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The pillows were fluffy!! We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but it smelled amazing."

"Nice hotel in a great area, but our room smelled like raw sewage. They applied enzymes in the drains, so it seems it is not a new issue. Did not work. Room should never have been given to a customer. Reception did not do anything to help beyond the enzymes which worked for an hour or two and then the stench came back. Never going back"

"My issue was that it was mid 80’s and when I asked why the AC didn’t work they claim that they can’t control it and it was set for heat only.that they change it to AC around the end of May or June. They told me to open the doors. I paid extra for a balcony room. The big issue is that you’re on a street that is super busy all night long.
