"We stayed 1 night and did not use any of the facilities or eat there. The room we stayed in was great. A really comfortable super kibg sized bed, massive wslk in shower, good tea and coffee facilities in our room. It was quiet, so we had a good nights sleep (just what we wanted). I would stay again. "

"The Bridge is a lovely place to stay and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. It was nice to have windows that open properly - and onto the river which is pretty. Easy parking and a good breakfast. Highly recommended."

"Place smelled horrible. Bedsheets were stained. Mold all over the shared bathroom. I found a pair of used underwear beneath my mattress. The place had not been vacuumed in ages. Very shocked Expedia would allow a place like this to remain on their website. "

"We booked the room for a overnight stay to catch a flight the next morning. The room had everything we needed for the short stay. "

"Good value hotel, rooms a little dated but clean. Free parking and good sized car park. A few minutes walk to some other bars and restaurants. A great little village with coffee bars, supermarket etc. A great stopover for manchester airport. Definitely worth a visit."

"The room I stayed was not in a good condition the curtain rails is bad, making the curtains fall, the toilet sit is visibly dirty. The corridor is filled with dirts on the floor. Poor staffing you will keep shouting or calling on for some one to attend to you at the reception or bar. I felt irritated the whole time. Had a bad experience "

"We did a Spa Day and Dinner Bed & Breakfast. Lovely little Spa with great facilities. Hotel is situated in lovely countryside surroundings. We had a Mud Rasul as an extra and this was amazing and relaxing. Food was excellent and a great menu with local produce. Overall we had a fantastic relaxing time. Would definitely return again."

"The room was clean and comfortable with everything you need including a fan which was essential because the rooms were very warm. The food was lovely. "

"Although it was clean the room that I had this time needed some upgrading, for example there was no toilet roll holder, just holes in the wall where it had been, grout was missing between the bathroom floor tiles. The walk from the car park was completely dark and uneven/potholed. That made it unsafe. However, the staff made up for the poor impression that condition of the premises. Very good breakfast and good service."

"This is the second of recent stays we have been in very dated rooms, first visit no hot water and this time the cold water tap on the bath didn't work at all! Spoke to manangement who said we should have called maintenance, however at 7.30am and with 2 dogs who would bark and wake other guests not a considerate option! should have worked in the first place! Manager did suggest he would contact me after we left but so far he has not! Not sure we will stay again now, very disappointing as we have...

"Positives - beautiful hotel in great grounds. Had tea in the restaurant which was very good. Bed was huge. Negatives - couldn't get bath to work and my wife was kept awake during the night by noise in room next door. Use of the spa was £20 per person (which I was willing to pay) but was then told we couldn't use it until 5pm. We'd arrived at 3pm with plan to go in spa before our friends arrived later. "
