"Room was ok nice bed bathroom ok needs tlc and food was great drinks abit deer food drink 190£ ×2 but overall nice relaxing place no late drinks all in all 6/10"

"Did not like the abscence of humans until breakfast. The cook was obliging in making me a bacon butty for breakfast. The bed was comfy and the hotel was clean but a wee tired."

"What a terrific spot! The bar was comfy, and cosy; the room clean, and tastefully decorated with a comfy bed, and wonderful view of the viaduct and Whernside. And, the fish & chips - exceptional! For us, the staff made our stay, Will, Courtney, Angela, & Val, couldn't do enough for us, despite a very busy bank holiday weekend. Thank you, we had a great evening and a cracking breakfast to boot."

"Wonderful overnight stay with our springer spaniel . Lovely clean and spacious dog friendly room in the Annex with a fabulous view . Set in wonderful grounds with lovely outdoor areas and enjoyed a great circular walk down to the river. All staff were so friendly and the steak for the evening meal was cooked perfectly as was the very generous breakfast . Definitely be back"

"Lovely overnight stay here. Our room in the main hotel was excellent and my son loved his in the courtyard area. The check in was good. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Local beer excellent, as expected. Dinner was lovely and so was breakfast. The staff were so friendly, but professional, especially when a resident asked if the fresh fruit like oranges had been washed !!! We will go back again."

"We were comfortable in our room but we found it unusual that the cleaning staff weren’t cleaning rooms until very late in the day. So the first day we said just leave our room for today but we do require a few things (TP and coffee). Other than that our room was never refreshed at all. The front of the property had two lovely patio sets however staff had overlooked cleaning them, so we gave them a quick brush off so we could use them. "It was very hot when we were there but thankfully there was a fan in the room. The bed was a superking and probably the most comfortable we’ve been in for a long time. The staff were absolutely fab and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice. A huge boost to our trip was the parking facility the premises has, town centre parking with no additional charge, what a result! If we should choose to return to Skipton this will definitely where we’ll choose to stay."

"Room was compact but comfortable, the bed especially comfortable. Best in room coffee ever! TV was impossible to sort out, HUGE but useless. A leak from toilet cabinet meant floor was wet most of the time, and was reported to manager, I'm sure it'll be fixed for next people. Pub is oozing with atmosphere, food is excellent. Staff are great. Somebody could pick up litter outside once in a while to improve the look."

"The drive resembles an entrance to building site, large pot hoke. Wall paper peeling off in bathroom, bed mattress bigger then bed base/6 inches over hang but was comfortable. Heavy duty curtains r/h hanging on by 2 clips, tv stand broken & lots of dust + no back up toilet roll. Didn't go down for second breakfast as it's not even continental.
