"A very welcoming, friendly lodge. More character than a hotel. Staff were courteous and helpful. Full breakfast every morning in a lovely room. Location is good - 10 minute walk to town square. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Manager always available & helpful. Day tours can be arranged with pickup at lodge. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable I would definitely stay there again."

"This could not be in a better location. A couple minutes walk to the train station or bus station, several cafes and restaurants walking distance. A 10-minute walk to the tourist area (Spanish arch, Galway Bay, Latin quarter) it was extremely safe as we had to use our key card four times to get into our room which we appreciated.
