"Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Had read that rooms were small and was potentially noisy if staying on the side of the freeway. We found the room size to be fine and were not bothered by freeway or A/C noise. Location was great - in the heart of the Hillcrest district so easy walks to bars and restaurants and we felt the area was very safe. We only stayed one night, so there was not much of a chance to use all amenities; however there is a coffee bar that sells starbuck drinks located on the same level as the hotel lobby, and a Kneads bakery where they serve gluten free options"
