"The hotel was booked with the name Sentenel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, apparently it was sold and name changed to the Margot Gaslamp Quarter. Caused a lot of confusion, especially when using GPS to locate the hotel. I finally just went in and that is when I was told there was a name change after recently being bought by the Hilton. Should jave a sign which stated formerly the Sentenel, there were 2 calls during my check in where the caller had same issue. When looking on the website it said...

"I have stayed at the Coral Reef many times over the years. It is a classic 1930’s/1940’s motel so things are a bit old. But the price, value, and location are great for a traveler who enjoys a place with character and history. The website suggests they have a “business center,” but they do not have a room with a computer and printer you can access. But the staff at front desk were very helpful and printed out my conference papers for me. I had a great stay"
