"Good location for getting in and out of Nottingham. Breakfast was good and staff friendly."

"Stayed for 3 nights, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was air conditioning, the accommodation is in a lodge, separate from the pub,we didn’t have breakfast, we had one evening meal at the pub, which was ok, although rather expensive for ordinary pub grub."

"Great pub/hotel/bistro in a beautiful peaceful village. Staff were extremely helpful. We had a wedding with so needed an early check-in and late return. Both were accommodated for. Room was clean, fresh. Continental breakfast was included in price. We also paid extra for cooked b/fast. Very nice freshly cooked, hot, good quality products. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend the Star Inn and stay there again. Or even go for a nice meal. Give it a go ! "

"The room was lovely though the walls were a bit thin and I could hear the neighbours TV. The floors of the upstairs rooms were a bit squeaky but it was a fairly rustic building so to be expected. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The kitchens were out of order but they provided a superb continental breakfast."

"Ubicación cercana a la Universidad, un restaurante al lado, atentos, pero poco personal, y la limpieza de la habitación muy básica, no te cambian toallas y demás, es decir más estilo europeo que americano. Pero en general bastante aceptable!! Hay servicio de restaurante , bar y TV !!"

"So, a one night stay for Donington Park and it was a head on a pillow. The property is in dire need of an uplift. It felt like I was staying in a care home to be honest. The food in the restaurant was excellent but the atmosphere, oh my days,so quiet and sterile. Get some background music on...... And no air-conditioning."

"The rooms were spacious and clean with good AC. The beds were very comfy. The pool and sauna were very nice but steam room didn't have much steam. The food was good but on the expensive side. Plenty of parking with excellent location for the airport and the National Watersport Center. The breakfast had a lot of options and was delicious with take away coffees available."

"Large room, king size bed and smart, well appointed kitchenette. The ensuite was compact but the walk-in shower was an acceptable size, Not sure if it was just our sroom, or all rooms, but the shower temperature did fluctuate slightly, Not a concern though,"

"何度も宿泊しているが、今回は特に朝食会場のあるスタッフのサービス精神が感じられなかった。具体的にはアジア人1人で食事をするのが憚られる雰囲気を醸し出す。笑顔が皆無でふてぶてしく、他の宿泊客への説明が私にはなかった。ただし、食事内容は美味しく素晴らしい。受付の方々も感じが良い。部屋は古く普通だが、愛着がある。部屋の配置が迷路のようなので避難経路は確認しておくことをオススメする。目の前のニューウォークの散歩が気持ち良い。"
