"I stayed during the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and the location was perfect. Trek bike shop near by, food not far away and close to race start. The staff were great, rooms were big and bus stop out the front. It really was the best spot for this race. The bath was good post race as well. Overall highly recommend!"

"Well I reserved a room since I was traveling a couple hours away and wanted to stay close to pier 39. I was charged $173. But a couple hours later I noticed the same exact room dropped to $116. Plus my bathroom had someone’s used toilet roll. Sofa bed was so obnoxiously loud it kept waking my partner up through out the night. I really would like to know how I am charged a price that’s so much more than the same exact room 2 hours later for cheaper. I stay in San Francisco quite a bit for work...

"Centrally located. Nice to have free parking in the city. I liked that we were given new towels everyday. Also, full shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion in the room. Coffee in the room replenished everyday. But the rooms and the lobby did not look like the pictures. The rooms were dark, and the carpet old. The elevator was broken and we were on the third floor, having to carry heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. Sadly, it was advertised as quiet but we could hear everything in the rooms on...

"Good location. Small cramped room. The room was clean. There is limited parking so if you do not get a spot, you have to find a spot on your own. There is some urban noise and there was some maintenance work being done at the motel so there was some noise at around 8:30 AM. With all due respect (and not the fault of the owners) I likely will not choose to stay here again. Just was not a comfortable stay for me."

"We chose Riu San Francisco due to the location near to the pick-up/drop-off for planned tours and that worked very well. The room was clean and housekeeping kept it clean during our 5-night stay. The rooms were a bit noisy and not well insulated for sound. The touristy neighborhood around the hotel was dirty…. not the fault of Riu because their areas were very clean, but once you leave the hotel, not so much. The very best part of our stay was the breakfast buffet that we enjoyed every morning!...
