The staff were very good and gave us a new room but it still wasn't great. It is possible that we were just in the old part of the hotel - if so, avoid low number rooms. "This was our 2nd stay when visiting Portsmouth for gigs. The hotel team are always very freindly and helpful. The breakfast is always good with good selection of fruits and juices to compliment ( if you actually have room). Free parking on a 1st come basis. All in all a great place to stay when in Pompey!"

The walls in particular were yellow and marked, including hand prints on the walls and mould on the curtains (pictured attached). "Nice stay for one night at this hotel partly due to an early hospital appointment and partly to take advantage of the aircon during a heatwave! Rooms are compact but adequate with controllable aircon, comfortable beds and a good sized TV. As has been mentioned on other reviews bathrooms have a clear glass door which was fine as privacy is maintained due to the layout of the bathroom. Location is good for the airport and hospital. "Nice pub with good ale and friendly staff. Unfortunately situated on quite a busy road so not exactly quiet. Room was nice but could do without the plastic plants. Nice breakfast and easy to park Shower over bath not very powerful"

"Overall a good location, friendly staff. I did find the bed and pillow a little too firm for my liking and the comforter far too heavy. We simply removed it and only used the cover."

"A very lovely, friendly and comfortable hotel. Staff were super friendly. Restaurant food was great. À la carte breakfast was also very good but there was no fruit offered which I was disappointed with. Times were also a little tight from breakfast, dinner, room cleaning and checkout but it was a small hotel so this is understandable. I would definitely stay here again. Thankyou."
