"The front registration and gathering space is very nice and historic..the adobe bar is great and bar service awesome. Location is great.. The hotel has music every night and a great time if you choose to listen too..
our room 206 unfortunately was NOT good..very old and in serious update need! It smelled moldy and musty..its a historic inn but it cannot smell moldy for your guests..the pictures for the room we booked looked nothing like our room.. and you had to take BIG step down(not safe in my input) into room from the outside and old dirty carpet and room slants downward all the way to the other side in bathroom..they updated the shower somewhat but you could see the water stains at the bottom of shower and walls where part of the smell probably comes from..also the old massive dresser in the room was so big for a small room you have very little space to even move..why have all that massive furniture in such a cramped dingy room already .. when we checked in Vincent at the desk said thats a very nice room when I inquired if they had any other room.. not acceptable for the price we paid and very little sleep due to musty and moldy smells even with opening window..we were happy to leave"
"We were placed in a room that looked like an old Motel 6, with a reddish/purple comforter and older looking carpet. But my parents had a room that looked completely different with a bigger and a more comfortable mattress. The vibe was completely different in their room compared to ours. We only stayed one night so the price was worth it, but I dummy think we’ll stay again. I’d rather pay the extra money."
"We had a lovely large room, a casita, that was clean and very quiet. We had a wonderful day, especially sitting outside on the. portal (porch) with the other guests , with a beautiful view of the well-maintained, grassy area and lovely flowers. It was just very welcoming and made you feel at home. The breakfast was well maintained, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The lady at the reception desk was especially helpful and friendly. I would love to stay here again soon."
"The salt water pool was out of commission. The pool
Was one of our reasons for picking this property. We were given no notice that it was under repair."
