"2nd time staying here and I have two main complaints that will probably keep me from returning. 1st, spoke to the reservation person, paid for an extra night as our family would be arriving at 2am to get a jump on our weekend stay. I told the rep that we would be in around 2am and he said it would be fine, we arrived at 2 and no key, No one at the office. The 4 of us had to sleep in the car until 7am. "This was the perfect place, right on the ocean and a full kitchen so you can cook your own meals. The room was very clean, I loved that they had a laundry basket and laundry detergent in the room for you, came in handy seeing as we stayed for 7 days. Amazing place to watch the sunset from a hammock and we got lucky enough to see some nurse sharks at the docks right outside of our hotel."

"The hotel is beautiful, and the staff are wonderful. The only downside is the beach. There is so much sargassum that it’s basically unusable. If you’re planning to enjoy the resort itself, I highly recommend it. The property, amenities, and service are excellent. However, if you’re coming mainly for the beaches, I would skip it. "We stayed in the main building of the property. The room was spacious and well appointed including a hair dryer and kitchenette with microwave.They have free bikes and canoes available for guests. The ladies at reception were very helpful and nice. The place is close to the Marathon Lady docks where we took a fishing trip that was great fun. There is a pickle ball court, bbq and a pool. "Inexpensive location to stay in Marathon. The room was cozy with air conditioning, and a living room with a table, kitchen, tv, and couch. No front desk but we were able to check in ahead of schedule. Quick drive to the middle of the Key where there were most of the restaurants. There was a bar walking distance. View of 7 mile bridge from property and Isla Market right down the street."

"The pictures on the website are not accurate. Grounds do not have a waterfront view. Perhaps a long time an ago there were views but now the bushes/mangroves are tall and overgrown. The public deck near the water is pretty run down with old furniture. Not a nice nor relaxing place to hang out."
