This was a hidden gem that we discovered a few months ago. It is a bit of a walk through some fields and a zig zag path down a cliff but it's definitely worth it for some beautiful caves.

📍Seaside, Cromarty. Whilst visiting the marvellous MacFarquhar’s Bed nearby, i took the the time to go dolphin 🐬 spotting 🔭, unfortunately it wasn’t my lucky day. Other sealife spotted in the Cromarty Firth include seals, pilot whales and basking sharks 🦈 .

My family (especially my 5 year old daughter) and I LOVED seashell cottage. Cromarty is a special place for us and the cottage was a wonderful and cozy place to stay while we were visiting. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Platform 1864, Tain in Scotland. A typical town in the Highlands, Tain is a great place to wander around taking in the atmosphere. We visited the museum which has many examples of Tain silverware and a great insight into local history. Here's a shot of Platform 1864, a cafe at the railway station. We spent time here relaxing over lunch. There's a very good menu and the owner has made a great job in the styling of the interior.
