"Bar and breakfast rooms were great..clean room..however we were given top floor room with four flights of stairs.. room too small for a double with very uneven floor.. Room was very hot window only opened six inches not much air coming in.fan provided was useless.. didn’t get much sleep as we were hot sticky and itratible..not going back.this was not in the heatwave.. the following weekend .."

Best money I spent. It’s a shame because the staff were quite nice, but the room, facilities, and vibe was terrible."

"Received an email around 3 hours before we were due to check in the booking had been cancelled. We were en-route. Called the number on the email (which was a third party - not Hotels.com). Advised the booking had been cancelled due to 'maintenance' and to contact Hotels.com directly make an alternative booking. Attempted to contact Hotels.com but could not get to speak to a human being to make an alternative booking. We were left high and dry!"

"This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The place if filthy and everything is broken. Our bed sheets were filthy and when we spoke to reception they handed us sheets and told us to change them ourselves as they the didn’t have any staff on. The place stank of weed. The light fittings were all broken. The shower door fell off. The public areas are ridiculous. The pictures are not a representation of the hotel in the slightest. "The hotel looks tired including the decor at the entrance of faded artificial flower garlands and lounge furniture Cleaners cleaning bathroom surfaces with bathroom towels and wiping glasses and mugs with napkins rather than washing them Wobbly toilet roll holder and toilet seat"

"Our stay was ok for what we paid. The room was clean but had no air conditioning, which in the heat wave was a bit uncomfortable. A fridge in the room would have been good. Breakfast was decent and they have a Starbucks onsite which was great. The staff were friendly and overall I would say it was value for money."

"We booked the apartment in August 2023 so the family could attend a music event which was local to apartment. On the day of Travel 26th April 2024 the booking was cancelled via email.. No phone call to warn us but an alternative 30+ miles away was offered in the email. Unfortunetly many other people have fallen fowl to this sort of approach due to many hotels being sold out and high prices starting to appear due to both the music event and a Wolves home football game. Many hotels coming back up...

"The Room stank of stale tobacco, when I checked in I was told numerous times that the rooms were strictly non smoking, it didn't help all the rooms look onto the smoking area of the hotel but the smell in the room was not just from outside. The Pillows were Paper thin and at 6:30am I was awoken by staff talking extremely loud outside the window. (The window had to stay open due to be it being a very warm night)"
