"The hotel was very nice and comfortable, and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Erin, Abby and Lily at the front desk greeted me daily and helped me with plans. The great service of the restaurant staff and the bell boys who opened the door all warmed the heart of this solo traveler."

"Very spacious place. We definitely had a lot of room for our luggages and great counter space in the bathroom for our toiletries. Some things we were hung up on were that the outlets weren't very good and that the washer/dryer was difficult to use. It was very tiny and it took a very long time to dry out clothes. Other amenities within the hotel, it had a great gym. It was very spacious, clean, newer equipment, and a water cooler. They had a pool, which our kids took advantage of. They were very attentive around the pool as well. This hotel is also connected to a little mall where there were some food options, grocery mart, souvenir shopping and a massage place. Overall my family and I enjoyed this hotel very much."

"The Metropole is quite simply old world chic! The staff are amazing, everything is amazing. Be prepared to pay for dining and drinks but the quality of the food and service is well worth the treat. The room we had was in the heritage building and I think they called it a luxury suite. Quite small but the bed was super comfy and the size of the room was adequate."

"We stayed at this hotel unexpectedly and were pleasantly surprised. Checking in was lovely and staff took extra time to give us information about Hanoi and local sights/customs. We had booked a room with a window but it was impossible to see outside due to frosted glass and was too high even if it was not frosted. Breakfast was amazing! There was a combo of à la carte and buffet items included. Coffee was a European style machine so no nasty drip hotel coffee. The hotel is ideally located and it is easy to get around using Grab. The only real issue was the shower. The glass didn’t cover enough so we were always needing to clean up the water from overspray. Also the drain was slow. They arranged a driver for us to get to the airport. Apart from the window (or lack of a functioning one) and shower, this hotel offers great value for money and the staff are fantastic!"
