"Ockenden manor was beautiful and staff very accommodating and friendly. We were also upgraded at check in which was a nice surprise. The room was beautifully designed, and bathroom and bedding were clean, although we did find two pieces of rubbish left behind by a previous guest in the room. Hotel guests can access the spa at no additional cost from 2pm on day of check in to 2pm on day of check out and the spa facilities were beautiful. Good vegan and veggie options at breakfast. "- Room not that clean, baby found loads of hairs and things.
- post-booking I got loads of repetitive spam messages to check in online days before arrival.
- Facilities have restricted use, e.g. no children at pool 10am-6pm! The only reason we stayed there was so the wife can rest at the pool with the baby.
- Restaurant food was pub quality but Michelin price.
- "Entry" to breakfast ends at 9:30 not 10 as advertised.
