"I was very disappointed that I had specifically booked a coastal view room, months ago, only to be told when I arrived that a coastal view room wasn't available. This is what I had booked and paid for. I was told at checkin that i was being given an 'upgrade', due to my booked coastal view room not being available, however the 'upgrade', was the exact same airport view room, just on a different floor. This is the 5th year I have stayed at your hotel, so I knew exactly what type of room I wanted...

"Need more explanation for guest arriving outside of reception hours, was suppose to get a email with check in instruction but did not come through, rang earlier in the day but no one advise to just contact the after hours team and they would assist"

"This place was amazing! It was a style of Palm Springs. Parking on site, 2 min walk to the beach, coles across the road, with cafes, restaurants and walking tracks. The owner was so nice and explained how he started this motel. The rooms including bathroom, kitchen, living room was huge. Between 4 people the place was spacious for all of us. "Fully renovated rooms above the bar and bistro in the centre of town. Parking at rear could be a problem but we snared the last spot at the time on arrival. Staff were most helpful and changed our allicated riom to the rear and not above the bar. Most appreciated. Good use of space in rooms with kitchenette facilities including stovetop hotplates but no utensils for their use. Good ensuite space. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great bar and bistro downstairs for an easy relaxing evening."

"Just stayed for one night for a night out in Kirra. Yeah it's a little dated, but it's very clean, functional and rooms are big! A bargain for what you get. Easy couple of minute drive to Kirra. "

"The lady I dealt with at reception was so kind and helpful. The room itself was spacious, clean and modern. Perfect location and in walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Would stay here again. The outside of the property was a bit unassuming however it’s not really a big deal."

"Room didn't seem clean despite the smell of floor cleaner. Ants, live and dead, kept dropping on the bed from a non-working light socket above the bed. Had to move the bed to other part of the room to allow us to sleep. Resort was noisy, with a group in the picnic area below our room. For all these issues, we could not report any of these due to very limited hours over the weekend that the reception was open."

"The studios are a very odd design; the tv comes up out of the sofa meaning the only option is to watch it in bed ( the bed is in the middle of the room) and the sofa faces the window. Would have been much more useful having the bed head against the wall and the tv on the adjacent wall with the tv on the adjacent wall. No tea or coffee facilities that we could find and unless you studied the control panel before dark, you could easily open the curtains rather than turn the bathroom light on in...
