"Great location and helpful staff"

"We really enjoyed our three night stay at Parwa. The guesthouse is lovely, we had PHENOMENAL views of the archeological site from our room, and breakfast was delicious and helped us fuel up for the day, The place is super close to the main square and everything, including the train station, was very walkable. We found the guesthouse and Ollantaytambo in general to be a central location for exploring the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and to acclimate to the altitude. Tip: We highly recommend...

"The hotel is really close to the square but as mentioned they are up in the area that cars can’t enter. They offer to help you up to the hotel once you arrive and I would highly advise that. I did get lost as Google Maps had routed me to the backside of the hotel. The staff was so helpful and went above and beyond to answer my questions and provide suggestions. "we arrived quite late in the night, but the staff was extremely helpful and very accommodating, they helped with our bags as well! it was also really nice that they spoke english, i appreciated not having to rack my brain for spanish vocab with how tired i was. the room was exactly as described and clean, they also provided some water and tea for the night :)"

"Pros: it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was simple but nice with the lady cooking us fresh eggs. Cons: they will charge you in local currency and they use a very bad exchange rate which they say is used in the town. If possible pay online in advance or maybe take usd with you and pay in cash when you arrive. The bathroom door could not open all the way because there was no space.
