"We had a wonderful stay for one night in the Quidi Vidi room. Then we came back at the end of our trip for four nights and stayed in Port Royal room, and this one was much bigger with bigger bathroom. Both rooms were on the first floor. The manor was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of yogurt, muffins, cereal, as well as eggs freshly made with toasts and bacon or sausage. Juice, coffee, tea and milk. "Great stay. Petty Harbour room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the private bathroom with shower and Native brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast was a definite highlight during which the owner Rob offered recommendations and advice on the local sites, stories, and jokes a plenty. Fantastic location. Would absolutely stay again."

"Didn’t like being on the bottom floor but rooms were clean and front desk staff was helpful and pleasant. TV was not working properly and not addressed by maintenance though we called."

"The room was clean but the air conditioner was very noisy and the bed was not comfortable. Got very little sleep. Turned the air conditioner off to try and get some sleep. The temperature rose up to 26° C, so had to turn the air conditioner back on."

"Breakfast at little Sparo was fabulous Room was terrible, very depressing, not sure why we had a handicap room, asked for harbour view, even though we booked 3 months in advance , & gave us parking lot view! Staff was just ok, not too helpful regarding any enquires we had about the area. Wouldn’t stay at Doubletree again!"

"The facility is rustic, has no elevator, and all rooms are on the 2nd floor so without staff helping take luggage to the room it would have been a challenge. This was evident upon checkout as there were no staff to help bring luggage down the stairs. The room and bathroom were clean, but the closet had a sign saying “Do not use due to water leak”. We did have a lovely meal in the attached restaurant and the staff were excellent!"
