"Great place to stay. Clean and safe "

"We were on our way back to Texas from Florida and were running behind schedule and needed a place to sleep for the night, this hotel had one room left and we took it. The room was pretty basic and what you’d expect from a Comfort Inn. The beds were very comfortable but the curtains were dirty and the bathtub was full of silverfish. It was good for what we needed it for. The woman that was working the night shift at the front desk was fantastic and the breakfast was adequate. I love Daphne and Spanish Fort but thought it was ridiculous that everything other than Waffle House and Burger King was closed at 11pm. If you’re traveling through the area and need a place to stay late, make sure you eat somewhere else!"

"Hotel was run down. It did seem that they were making renovations. There was a lot of debris in the parking lot and under the outside stairs but most of it was from the improvements under way. The sink and counter were new and had a very nice shower surround. Problem is that it was between a stained tub & rusty drop ceiling. Controls on the heat / ac were completely worn off but functioned well once I figured it out. Overall it's a "you get what you pay for" situation. I just needed a clean place to sleep for the night while traveling. It suited that need fine. Can't say I would recommend for a family or long stay but close to the highway and plenty of shopping near by. I got in late so only interacted with the desk clerk and she was very friendly. Parking isn't the greatest but if you're on the ground floor you can pull right up to your door. If you want a cheap, no frills place to lay your head for the night maybe worth a shot."
