"The property is clean, but I was put in a room right next to the highway so I couldn't get a good night's sleep. The beds are also thin and very uncomfortable."

"The staff were all very nice and helpful. We missed our connecting flight so we were tired and not happy. They got us into their restaurant last minute before closing and let us order. The hostess, waiter, bartender and chef were so nice and helpful. The hotel manager and amenities person were also so nice and helpful. Great experience."

"The check in process was very smooth and the hotel is a perfect distance if you have a long layover and want to eat and bathe before your connection. We stayed the night for this very reason and it all went over smoothly. Very glad we stayed here as it was a peaceful nights sleep and a good meal at the on-site restaurant before finishing our journey home."

"This place was exactly as advertised. Very clean with limited noise from the L train. They provided ear plugs and white noise machines, if needed. They communicate quickly and efficiently via the Expedia app and you can’t beat the location. I would stay here again after a very pleasant experience. The luggage storage was full but I utilized another service down the street (bounce) at the art store."

"Skip this hotel. Their deadlocks do not work on ANY hotel doors and the staff is aware and still checking people in. They apologized and told me to use the latch. So unsafe. I got a full refund and booked elsewhere."

"The room that we got looked nothing like the photos on the website. The hotel looked like it might have been some sort of old school apartment building once: the hallways, the rooms, etc. all felt more like a cheap apartment building than a hotel. The room was surprisingly large, which was probably the one good thing about it. However, the carpets looked old and dirty. The A/C unit in the window made a ton of noise (and there was an unpleasant musty moldy smell the entire stay). Our window...

"We enjoyed out short stay at the Freehand in Chicago. We were originally placed in a room on the 17th floor. However, the air conditioning wasn't working so they quickly moved us to another quad room on the 4th floor. The space worked great for my family of 4 adults. We also enjoyed talking with Selma at the bar while watching World Cup games."

"Location is great for what we wanted to do in Chicago. I did not like that rooms were cleaned every other day as we were traveling with a newborn when we requested the room be cleaned it was denied. We will go to another property next trip."

"The hotel is in the heart of the downtown and is easily accessible to all the restaurants, cloud gate, and other attractions. Best of all, the staff is amazing and friendly starting from front desk to room service. They made my stay a very pleasant one. The only thing that was missing in the room is a comfortable couch. I wish they gave a mini couch/table or something instead of chair/table to sit and eat comfortably but that’s not biggie! Love it! Thank You Hyatt!! I would surely recommend...

"It's not gonna knock your socks off or anything, but it's a perfectly fine hotel for the money. The location is convenient. The bed is comfy. It has robes and a decent coffeemaker. All perfectly fine. Oh, and they'll give you bottled water as often as you ask. So that's a nice touch."
