"Shuttle to port would have been nice"

"Nothing was unique about this property, kinda looks ran down. Rooms are not the best, younger girl staff working the front desk was Rude and none helpful, the ok and kitchen had the small infested roaches and I didn’t even inquire about a breakfast. Definitely on the scale of a Motel and not Hotel."

"Very disappointing stay at Ocean Villas Deerfield. The apartment was dirty and poorly maintained. The floor felt greasy, as if oil had been spilled everywhere, making it slippery and uncomfortable to walk on. Cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. I would not recommend staying here."

"We arrived at 10pm, checked in and entered a room that had no ac. The front desk staff said they would have maintenance fix it and it’d be ready in 30 minutes. Fine. We’re exhausted but hungry, we’ll go to the restaurant. Food and staff were great. (Nice work F & B Dept.). After 30 minutes I’m exhausted and need to sleep. "It was nice. I liked it. But if the ac wasn’t on the room got humid. Not necessarily warm but the ground would get wet. But it wasn’t a huge issue for me. It was also walking distance from Publix, different food options and stores and the beach. I’d go back"

"The staff were consistently rude and unhelpful throughout our stay. It often felt as though any question or request was an inconvenience, which made for a disappointing guest experience. Unfortunately, the room we were assigned was located on an outside corner at a busy intersection that was undergoing major construction. "The property was in a good location and had plenty of parking spots (for a daily fee). Breakfast was included with the stay but by the time we would arrive around 9:30/10am all breakfast options were wiped out and not replenished. The room was adequate but the AC unit was loud. The hotel also had beach chairs for rent which was a positive. Overall a decent hotel to stay in in the Fort Lauderdale area"
