"I would not stay here again. The villa smelled musty, and there was something living in the ceiling - possibly a large lizard. There were three buildings behind the locked gate of my "villa," each with a bedroom/bathroom combo, and one with living area and kitchen with an upstairs balcony that was open to the elements - bugs, mosquitos, critters. I reserved a one bedroom with private pool. The living area and kitchen were located in another building, as mentioned above, and I did not use it....

"We checked in late at night, found the floor are dusty and dirty. There were no slippers provided, we walked around the room bare feet on the dusty floor. It seemed that there were only 1 person on duty that night, he offered to mop the floor. The whole room was dirty and dusty, we were sneezing a lot. "This place is nice and quiet, though from the street, you do not know where to go to access the property and if arriving at night, its difficult to find. The street sign is hard to see as there's a tree in front. The booking confirmation needs to have photo of the pharmacy out the front with directions to walk down the right hand side. "This hotel is wonderful. My wife and I stayed there for four nights in June 2026. We can not find anything in their service that needs to be improved. The staff are nice. The food is so so enjoyable. The facilities are well maintained. Pool, gym, spa, hiking, yoga, biking, archery, etc, everything is perfect. The laundry service is great. All the clothes are well cleaned and ironed, and neatly packed and dropped off to my room. A very big comfortable room with free excellent breakfast was charged with a reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel to my friends"

"Overall, our stay had some positive highlights, particularly the excellent staff and a very enjoyable breakfast experience. However, there were several issues that affected our comfort. We encountered a problem with the air conditioning, and there was water leaking from the bathroom ceiling, which initially made the room feel unclean. Although the staff attended to it and the leakage eventually stopped, the issue was not handled as efficiently or thoroughly as expected. Additionally, contacting the lobby could be challenging, as calls were sometimes not answered promptly. Since we booked two rooms, it was also inconvenient that one of the phones was not functioning. Given that this is an Andaz property, we expected a higher standard of maintenance and responsiveness. On a positive note, the location in Sanur is pleasant and quiet, making it suitable for relaxation. However, the beach area is quite public. A more private setting would have enhanced the experience, as there were street vendors frequently passing by offering services and products. In summary, while there are strong aspects to the property, there is room for improvement in maintenance, responsiveness, and overall guest experience. "
