These include NASCAR and IndyCar, while also allowing folks to take part in Friday night drag racing on the main stretch (with their own cars). In 2014, the track will host the US Red Bull Air Race for the first time, in early September. Air racing is quite a spectacle! The track offers various packages for each event so be sure to see what they offer. These can include pit access, where you can obtain great views of the race and the behind-the-scenes action. The sheets had not been changed in our bed Crumbs and hair all in bed . We changed sheets ourselves. The bed was broken and uncomfortable. The AC could not be turned down below 70 in Texas that’s too hot and humid.

Great communication with host. Very clean and well-prepared in a cool location on the town square. Breakfast was great and a short walk from room. Will definitely stay there again!

The soaking tub was incredible and there was more than enough linens provided. The room was very quaint and decorated so tastefully. I adored the push button light switches and the beautiful armoire. I will most definitely stay here again if ever around Decatur.

Recommend this site with larger room

The room was small and quaint. The furniture was well placed and the room was decorated tastefully. Could not get the TV to work. The owner was very helpful through phone calls and texts. Probably will stay at this site again but will definitely get a larger room. The voucher for the free breakfast was appreciated. Everyone was very friendly.

Unique facility! Not your usual B & B. We were made to feel welcome and the instructions for getting in our room were easy. It’s like we took a step back in time plus all the right modern amenities. Huge tub! I do wish we had a window to look out onto the beautiful courthouse/town square. Maybe a different room next time! :-)

Very unique. Room is small but comfortable! I love the old wood western decor. There is an actual cow skin on the floor as a rug! Bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Electric Fireplace at the end of our bed. There’s a twin bed in the loft kids would love. You gotta climb an old wooden ladder to get to it! There’s a saddle on wheels! Microwave and refrigerator but hidden behind farm wood cabinets. Bathroom is tiny but sufficient. Oh and you pull a string to flush. Lol. You might want to use the back entrance as the stairs are not quite as steep.

Country living with 2021 style

If you want to throw back to the 1850s this is the place for you. Awesome experience perfect for a night on the town if you’re going to step in. Sets the tone early. I felt like I was in the 1860s at my great great great grandparents house. Don’t be fooled though modern amenities and great location close to the main square in Decatur

Our room had a rustic decor and we were alright with that. We were very comfortable. They provided a very good breakfast also. If they’re was a drawback about the room, I’d say it was climbing the stairs to our room. And our room also had a loft which had a bed. Wasn’t expecting to have to climb a ladder to it. Overall we liked it and had a great time.

Our whole stay was wonderful, starting with the contactless checkin & Scott (owner) giving us a friendly informative tour of the place. The whole feel of the Dean Martin Room was like stepping back in time into my parents house. I sat and listened to the Herb Albert and Tijuana Brass album on the old turntable & brought back so many memories: I absolutely adored it. The huge bedroom was so comfy, the living Room, the kitchen, bathroom, hallways, my friend's Room,,What's not to like? We went out last night to the Roosters Roadhouse and had a Cuban sandwich and a cold beer which absolutely hit the spot! This morning we visited theTrinity St coffee Bar & ordered their bourbon latte with cinnamon vanilla, 😋and of course breakfast at Brandi's was deelish! (Included with our stay) Simply adored your town, will come back hopefully in Spring .
