"Bagdon Hall is set in beautiful grounds, and staffed by wonderful people who have worked there because they love the place. I did too, along with my two little dashing dachshunds. I wish that I could have stayed longer. The food was delicious, and fresh and locally sourced. Thank you all. "

"Loved this place. The setting is beautiful as was our room. A real mixture of old and new that worked perfectly. The staff were really friendly and attentive and we truly felt welcome. We opted for the pie for dinner and I can honestly say, it was the best pie I have ever eaten. The pastry was amazing and it was filled to the max with the ham and leek. "For a bed for the night it did the job. However, the duvet cover was ripped and the general maintenance of the room was poor. Little things were irritating like turning the tap on a getting totally drenched by it and a shower that took a few minutes going cold and boiling before it settled on a temperature, and then was a good shower. Also, housekeeping seemed to be making noise and hoovering right outside my door at 9am for well over an hour, but no offer of housekeeping for my room e.g. fresh...
