"A great local Hotel with all the amenities to make your stay great. Chairs, towels, and boogie boards were plenty available for the kids. All the staff were extremely accommodating and always greeted us with a smile. The only complaint would be the ease of pulling out the pull-out couch (which was stubborn), and the bathroom door, which could use a handle (a hide-a-way door)"

"The Vurpallat is a very interesting place. It's an older apartment/hotel on the beach. I imagine at one time this was a bit of a magical building. Right now much of it seems to be under renovation or construction? Not sure but the halls on the 2nd and 3rd floor had tons of old furniture an different things. They weren't in the way of walking abut I was aware that things were in transition. There is no air conditioning and on the 3rd floor it was extremely hot. they had a small fan which helped...

"This hotel sits on a prime location. Everything is walkable. Good and safe vibes for a family. Hotel is cute and modern but not the cleanest and needs some updates. Vallet parking only so expect that cost. Reception area super cozy and cute. The complimentary breakfast we dint make it but from what was left great options. Staff was great!. Would stay again!"

"Merci pour l’excellent accueil! Le quartier est sécuritaire et agréable. À 1,5 km de Manhattan Beach, mais il faut remonter une grosse pente au retour. Petit hic, j’avais choisi cet hôtel pour sa piscine mais elle était fermée en plein mois de juillet! L’employé nous a dit que la ville venait faire une inspection dans 2 jours et qu’ils devaient la vider. Drôle de moment pour faire ça!"

"The bathroom had soap cake all around the corner. The bed has tin rim at the bottom that when we come near at the bed it made a loud noise like kicking a can. It has an odor that not pleasant to smell. Smells like the sheets and pillows been in the closet for so long. I didn't like the security deposit of $100 to check after I already paid the room when booking. Then at check out I have to wait 2-3 days to deposit it back to my account. I expected breakfast with eggs, sausage, hash brown,...
