"Everytime the room was turned down items were not replaced...... We asked four times for more toilet roll, ended up going to the desk to ask. We had bottles of water confiscated coming back as not allowed to bring things in, it's summer in a desert city....... These were not returned upon checkout. Hotel is no way a 5* it's tired and needs upgrading massively. Air con didn't work when we arrived in our room and we had cockroaches! Bathroom very tired with some black mould and no work bench or...

"This hotel is calm with good rooms and housekeeping but misses the mark too much. Service was usually sleepy, the place very not smoke free with lots of smoking around the pool, the technology was outdated with no usb sockets anywhere or Netflix and a pretty useless hotel app too. Just a very forgettable place to stay, hopefully I just hit a bad week but it should be really special and was not."

"We had a great week at Amadil - hotel facilities were fantastic, it's in an ideal location and all of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was the biggest and best we've ever seen (especially the freshly made donuts!) Lots to do in the area - we booked quad biking, camel ride and paradise valley excursion through the hotel's recommended rep and they were all well worth the money (which was only £20 per person per excursion).
