"A clean hotel and everything working as it should. A good choice of breakfast and a bar restaurant for basic food and drinks available in the evenings."

"No air conditioning. No fridge. No telephone. Rooms made up every 3rd day is normal practice, they said if we wanted everyday they would mark it as such. Still no room made up after 3 days. Trash left outside the room was left over the weekend. Guests have to fetch clean towels from a supply room. Someone had vomited in the elevator and the smell was horrible. Stayed there 6 years ago and it was fine. It has gone downhill. Rooms were shabby with no maintenance"

"No toast for breakfast was the only downfall I had asked for it and been told they bring it to table but it never turned up Shame as really good hotel otherwise"

"I was very impressed with this property! It was gorgeous! We had an absolutely lovely stay! Extremely clean, quiet, and overall just so romantic! We loved it and will come back again! Loved the pub!"

"Couldn’t fault the room and staff at check in/behind the bar. Breakfast let the stay down, waiting nearly and hour for 4 easy breakfast (beans on toast, scrambled eggs and pancakes) and when it finally arrived it wasn’t very nice at all, we did wonder if the scrambled eggs had been dropped on the floor and scraped back on the plate- it looked so bad. Such a shame as the rooms were lovely, very clean and the pub is lovely. I would stay again but wouldn’t be rushing back to have breakfast here."
