"We booked last minute, when the highway got closed and we had to re route through creston. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Our rooms were ready when we arrived shortly after booking. We had dinner at the pub and it was very good food drinks and service. Would definitely stay again. Thank you."

"Slide is super fun but you have to ignore the grit on the bottom of the pool and the general disrepair of the building. Loved the themed rooms and appreciated the price is reflective of an old building. Staff was lovely. "

"The property is a beautifully restored Victorian house and our room had amenities such as a fridge, coffee maker, hot pot, and robes. There were dishes and a microwave was available in the hall. We stayed in the Cedar room, which had a view of Nelson from up high. Although it has a detached bathroom down the hall, the bathroom is for that room only. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially assisting us to get an early check in because my husband was ill. Highly recommend!"
