"Staff was friendly room was poor couldn't open the window the curtains was off the rail so wouldn't close properly.shower sprayed everywere bathroom was filthy hairs everywere ( both off the head and nether regions ) the voile curtain was stuck to the side of the window with plasters. Had a fan that didn't work was covered in dust and the bedside tables had glass cover on top which slide about more than you would on a ice rink. (Dangerous) The floor was covered in dust around bottom of the bed...

"The pictures on this hotel looks amazing until you get there and was not very good mould in the bathroom there was a mirror to get ready next to but with no plug socket nearby to do my hair the room was big and a nice sea view but only if the owner would spend some money in this hotel it would be a great place to stay says on there website that u can pay extra £9 per day for parking but there was not no parking nearby and had to walk 10 minutes to a car park"

"Great location, short walk to town, on street parking at front, very friendly helpful staff. Room wasn’t quite ready but we enjoyed a drink on the terrace out front while we waited. Bed very comfortable, great nights sleep, even had a fan to cool the room down which was most welcome."

"Nice place to stay, very friendly owner, excellent breakfast. Lovely location and view from the conservatory. The only problem was the room shower, tricky to control and weak flow. We informed the owner and he is going to look into getting it fixed."

"For the cost of the room I expected more modern decor and room facilities. Very basic bath/shower combo, basic tea making facilities and dated decor/room furniture. The view from the room was fantastic but the view alone shouldn’t warrant such high prices."

"My second stay in as many weeks. Room was a good size, bed was really comfortable. Greeted by a friendly bloke on reception who gave me my key. Good supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk sachets in the room. Brilliant location for the cricket ground as well asbthebtown centre. All in all good, can't fault it with the competive prices"

"The included breakfast was fantastic. Many options and the fresh fruit salad was good quality. Clean and useful bedroom and bathroom with comfy bed and duvet. We had 6 flights of stairs to our room which was fine and expected. The location is a long way from the seaside action but again, expected."

"Very friendly staff, clean and tidy. Good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Probably the best one we have stayed in in Scarborough and we have stayed in quite a few! Unfortunately unable to access the restaurant for dinner as fully booked, but breakfast was delicious and well presented. Will definitely return."
