"Was upgraded to sea view room with lovely view. Bathrooom needs a refresh as does hotel generally especially restaurant area, big room with no character. Staff were polite. Bar area okay but not sure staff have been trained very well, gin and tonic in white wine glass. Restaurant food was very average and starters were awful. Very expensive wine list."

"Not very good. There were ants in the room. The female staff members were doing their jobs normally, but Abdula was very impatient and did not provide good customer service. He didn't care that there were ants."

"The room was clean, bed linen fresh and the bed comfortable. The hotel and room looked a little tired with its décor and could do with a refresh. Only stayed a single night at a very good rate and would do so again."

"Lovely stay"

"We arrived on the hottest weekend of the year and our room had no AC. However, the staff had prepared the room the best they could, a fan, curtain closed etc. and it was fine. We were in the refurbished side and the room was lovely, clean and modern. The breakfast buffet wasn’t great - limited continental and low quality hot items. Staff were friendly and efficint. I would recommend this hotel for its lovely room, parking and close to town."

"部屋は清潔で、空調もしっかり効いていた。洗面台、シャワーの水圧、トイレの水量も十分で、しっかり排水され水回りのトラブルも無かった。電気設備等の不備もなく、快適に過ごせた。朝食について、6時からという案内表示されていたが6時30分になってもまだ準備ができていない日があった。またコーヒーメーカー2台のうち1台は故障しており、パントースター2台のうち1台は不調だった。朝食メニューは品数も多く満足のいく内容だった。冷蔵庫が無いのは残念な点だった。"

"We upgraded from a cosy room to a superior room. The room itself was lovely, though quite small and the bathroom had a roll top bath. The room was extremely clean and the decor was lovely. However, I would say that there was little space to put any of our things, little surface space in the bedroom and the bathroom. Our room was on the top floor; we were asked before arrival whether we had an problem with stairs, and there were quite a few levels to go up so be aware of this. I do have one...

"Ok für einen Zwischenstopp aber definitiv überbewertet. Zimmer ok aber Mobiliar sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Beim Duschen geringer Wasserdruck und nur zeitweise wirklich warmes Wasser. Abendessen und Frühstück passabel. Die Lage ist perfekt aber wir übernachten beim nächsten Mal woanders!"

"Fresh and clean sheets on bed and lovely white towels. Friendly reception staff. Free car park with cctv. Easy check in. Easy access ground floor bedroom. Sadly our shower didnt work ( room 7). Overall a budget stay for 1 night with o ly a 15 min ride/ drive to the Eurotunnel. "

"Second time staying at a woodland lodge. Although looking a bit tired in places they are great value for money. Very spacious,in a lovely setting and with full amenities."

"On the back of the bedroom door is a card you can hang up if you do not want your room serviced that therefore implies the room would be serviced as would normally be expected. But it wasn't and when I queried it with reception they said the rooms have not been serviced since covid. If that is the case visitors should be pre warned that the room would not be cleaned, waste bins not emptied,no replenishment of beverage trays, no clean towels . You have to ask for these services . "
