"Good room and very helpful staff"

"We had a first floor room in the annex the other side of the carpark, the weather was good but I wonder how annoying that would be during the rain. A desktop fan was provided which was needed due to the hot weather. The breakfast was good. The bar closed before 11pm on at least one night so I was having to walk to the off licence for a beer. Happy hour had 2 cocktails for the price of one."

"Lovely hotel great good in the restaurant. Had to wait ages for our dessert I think they forgot. Nothing around nearest pub is a good 20 minute walk away. Nice gardens to sit in and have a drink at the hotel. Dog friendly too"

"No air-conditioning for the heatwave, unfortunately the fan stopped working too, so rather uncomfortable heat wise. Lovely room, comfy bed, friendly staff and great location!!!"

"Lovely decor downstairs in the hotel. The room was basic but had what I needed and the hotel was conveniently situated. Low pressure in the shower though so water only trickled out"

"We had a 1 night stay before catching the eurotunnel. Everything was brilliant, staff at check in as we arrived quite late, clean room, comfy bed and breakfast the next day. We also had our dog with us and they gave us a goody bag for her too!!"

"Location is verry central to all the lovely things that Rye has to offer - the view from our room (at the top of the hotel) was spectacular. Although the room was top floor, and the temperature was hot, the fan supplied did a good job of keeping the room cool. We met two different members of staff who went above and beyond to help us and this made the stay. There are some rooms that have been renovated and other areas, (the hallway and stairs) that are yet to be done and appear to look tired...
