"Well located close to the M20 and nearby Bearsted village, which is really picturesque. Wifi was really slow for me which was a bit of a pain. Room was lovely - ground floor with a small terrace onto the golf course. Leisure facilities are good. Cafe is a nice place to work."

"Helpful staff and a relatively clean hotel cannot makeup for no air conditioning in rooms, which were stiflingly hot during our stay during a UK summer heat wave. Unfortunately the small plug in fan and safety-secured windows did little to alleviate the stuffiness and heat in the rooms. Overall it’s a lovely location with relaxing grounds but the aging decor in common areas, corridors and rooms is in desperate need of an update, even in the chosen eclectic style."

"It situated right in the town centre. A bit chaotic. The bathroom and toilet had no lock and male and female was sharing, that was stressful having to keep an eye on the door."

"The room was small but very comfortable especially the bed which was perfect for a relaxing sleep. Staff were amazing and I couldn’t fault their kindness and eagerness to help. It was very dog friendly but it would have been nice to have had something available in the room for my dog such as a water bowl etc but that is a minor point"

"The linen was very fresh and clean smelling, owner very pleasant. The property is undergoing refurbishment, hence the low price. TV didnt work and fridge needed a clean, the loo brush was source of nasty smell. "

"Far too hot to sleep in, handheld fans will not blow hot air around a room so really uncomfortable Shower water pressure was awful. You’d get a better shower in fine rain."
