It was extremely comfortable with all of the necessary amenities and the shower had fantastic water pressure. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant served gorgeous food . We stayed one night ( 2 adults, 2 teenagers) but would happily have stayed longer"

"We stayed at the Azumi for one night. After a dreary day of cycling, we were looking forward to some pampering. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was gorgeous - large and serene with nice appointments like a shoe dryer for wet days (genius!). The food at the on-site restaurant is very good."

"This was our (family of four age 9 and 11 kids) first Ryokan experience. It was incredible. We loved the authentic Japanese feel. It was an adventure getting there on a boat and we rented bikes next door for a beautiful all day ride. It’s a great spot to ride from in the middle of the Kaido. If you want a traditional, relaxing stay—book this! We hope to return. (We did 2 rooms with 2 people each because the bedrooms are smallish.)"
