"We stayed at Ragland on the return leg of a two week road trip from NY to southern Florida. It was such a welcoming and cozy experience. We arrived late because of traffic and Claudia met us at the door, showed us around and led us to our room. First of all, it’s huge. After staying in small rooms for two weeks this was so nice. "The staff was really helpful and the breakfast was decent. The room had a layer of dust and the mini fridge didn’t work and was stuffed with towels. The floor by the air conditioner was soaking wet and there’s a rug on the floor. I didn’t ask for a room change because we had traveled all day and didn’t arrive until 10pm. The room was booked 2 months in advance so they knew we were coming so I’m not sure why they put us in a room they knew had broken equipment."
