"This was the worst hotel experience. First room received was not acceptable. The carpeting was a hazard, it had ripples/buckling every 4-5 inches and the room smelled like smoke. Second room received was not quite as bad in regard to the carpeting (however the carpeting was still quite worn, but not a tripping hazard), but the furniture was stained, not clean, and had a foul smell. "This hotel is located close to the airport, which was reason we chose it. The man checking us in was on the phone during the entire process. It was clean enough and quiet, but I was uneasy when I saw the dead bolt had been busted off our room door and it had not been repaired. The hallway lights were bright and on all night-probably for a good reason. The hallway was only accessible with a room card which made me feel a little better."

"They do not accept Expedia. If you make a reservation with Expedia and pay for it, that's too bad, as they won't accept it and you'll have to pay again and then go back and deal with Expedia. "I booked this hotel through Expedia in April and I put my trust in them with my reservation. So the day I was set to arrive the hotel was NOT the hotel I reserved. Apparently the Days Inn in El Paso IL is permanently closed and has been for 4/5 years!!! So why put it on the site if it’s not there. I’m still waiting to hear back from Expedia for my refund and even they were hard to find. I hope this doesn’t happen to any one else."
