"Got stuck in STT a couple of nights when flights were cancelled due to Hurricane Erin. Staff were very courteous and accommodating, even as they were at work during a Cat 5 instead of at home with their families. Parts of the island flooded and were without power, but the Emerald Beach Resort had a generator and felt very safe. "We anxiously awaited our stay at Point Pleasant, and it was everything we had hoped. The views were amazing, our villa was cozy. The staff was attentive and helpful. We ate several meals at Sun & Sea Bar and Grill and it was always delicious. There are several great beaches only a short drive away. We hope to return again! "
