"Room was clean but missing a curtain, we had to fashion something with the other 2. No teaspooon to stir drinks with. Noise from room above early in morning and a drunk hammering on front door early hours of Sat morning, so sleep was limited. Staff friendly and obliging."

But the only offer to get changed for a wedding was in the changing rooms a flight of stairs down or the toilets! "Amazing value and so much to do. Food was plentiful, pleasant and of a canteen standard. Bluecoats and other staff very pleasant and helpful. Accommodation basic but comfortable enough and very quiet. Entertainment was amazing. Afternoons and evenings with lots of choice for different events. A great break if you embrace what is on offer. No children allowed so very different atmosphere. Only negative point was cleaner coming into our room 20 minutes before check out time on last day."

"The staff were very friendly and the location was great! We visited during an extreme heat wave and unfortunately it was uncomfortable sleeping. The staff provided a room fan when we requested, but unfortunately the 2nd floor was an oven. This is no fault of the staff or property, it was just an anomaly of the weather."
