"Breakfast was freshly cooked, fruit fresh. Not many shops nearby. Only one thing to say is 1st breakfast we were offered to decide how we wanted our eggs but the next 2 mornings not. Not sure if it depends on whos on duty."

"Beds were cheap and to soft. The linens are poly cotton with a cheap feel. The room had a smell of the kitchen cooking and also in the hallway. If the location was not convenient we definitely would not stay there."

"Excellent stay at the IHG Sheppterton. It was a great location and the hotel itself, staff and amenities were great. Perfect for families and they have a kids area which my kids throughly enjoyed. Good size swimming pool and everything was clean. Food was delicious and grest value - kids eat free. Will definitely be returning. "

"I don’t know. But I have never stayed in such a filthy place in all my 70 years. The ingrained dirt was disgusting. Blocked toilets full of excrement. A shower that looked like it had had a mud bath and toilet seats broken. The smell of poo and cannabis everywhere was foul. Never again."

"They hotel had double booked and we were turned away. No room. As two elderly travellers I was appalled to have to drive straight back home 100 miles in the evening. Staff just said they couldn't help"
