"Easy walking distance to Plymouth Train Station, and within walking distance of the waterfront area. Good towels/linens. Decent room size. One thing to keep in mind is that the rooms are NOT air conditioned and the windows barely open two inches. There is a ceiling fan and a small electric fan however. Wouldn’t want to be there during any kind of heat wave."

"Breakfast good choice, poached eggs overdone and staff cheerful. Paper thin walls mean you hear every small noise so not great. Lovely grounds to walk in and the nearby Rock Inn pub well worth a visit."

"Stayed here many times previously. Excellent stay again no issues. Little disappointed with the check in guy who stated I had been given a complimentary upgrade to an executive room. This was not the case and it was a standard room. Why lie? I’m not a novice traveller. Quite frankly I could not be bothered to complain . Smoking area outside the bar was in a terrible state!
