"I will start with a big plus. The staff are very helpful and will try to make your stay comfortable, but there is only so much they can do. Our room was so hot as to make it uninhabitable. They did say they had air-conditioning, but in reality it was a glorified fan which used ice to cool the air. After about 5 minutes in a 90 plus degree room, the ice melted. "Excellent value, clean, modern, non frills hotel about 12 minutes walk straight to Cardiff city centre. Lucky it got Aircon because it's about 30°c outside today. Molly the receptionist was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended."

"When checked in the room given had not been cleaned but after a couple of hours the room was cleaned and was given free breakfast which was ok.Great location."

"Bathroom was looking tired, tiles loose on wall and taps falling apart. Silicone needed replacing. No air conditioning available despite the controllers etc present. Fans provided but those weren’t much help. Breakfast was good and externally hotel looked lovely"
