"Property was nice and room ok. Shower was a powerful but temperature kept varying. Bar food and drinks were nice but disappointing that on Expedia (who we booked through) it said pets stay free but on arrival charges were applied for the dog which is why I’ve given a lower rating. Did mention to the member of staff who checked us in but nothing was done about this and Expedia still shows as pets stay free "

"Most impressed by:
The Staff, they were lovely.
Breakfast was delicious.
Entertainment, Colin Mills was outstanding.
The bedroom was bright, airy, clean and nicely laundered.
Not so good:
Lift didn't go to top floor where we stayed so we had lots to carry, which was quite difficult for our party.
Bathroom was not as clean as it could have been.

"This Hotel is dated but very clean and tidy and the staff are all welcoming, accommodating and professional.
For the price Point the hotel offers exceptional value for money in its location to the NEC and Vox Conference Centre's as well as Birmingham International airport.
Food offering was varied and sensibly priced and the well stocked bar reasonably priced too.
The Hotel has a gym centre swimming pool which although i did not get to use seemed very reasonable.
Nice to see a hotel keeping...

"Everything was exceptional. The staff was incredibly helpful. The rooms were gorgeous. The food was great. But I cannot say anything better about that staff. They were absolutely lovely."

"Overall it was an enjoyable experience. however the view from the room window itself was terrible bins and rundown back of building. The sink and some tiles on floor were both cracked. It had clean bed. and I liked separate sleeping room for daughter. the restaurant was timeless classic. It had beautiful bar area and nice pool. grounds were fantastic. "
