"Great location close to Edinburgh Airport but in lovely countryside (it has a Golf course). Great staff, good dining choices and excellent facilities; lots of gym equipment, large heated indoor pool, sauna & steam. Fantastic rest stop after long travel to Edinburgh or resting place before long travel home."

"Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only thing that was disappointing was when returning to my locker in the spa changing rooms the key broke in two whilst trying to get the locker open. I had to ask someone to inform staff who then got the locker open eventually minus a pound. The lockers were in need of updating."

"Really enjoyed our night here for our anniversary. Room was bright, airy and clean and the hotel was very nice.
Breakfast was good with lots of choice.
One thing we did notice is that it does require some maintenance on the outside. Our room was on the 1st floor, with a small balcony. Although the weather was fine, we were unable to sit out there as there was too much sitting rainwater, and from looking on the ground up, the balcony edges were worn and looking tired/ messy.

"We received a very warm welcome upon arrival from the reception staff. They were very helpful and friendly
Our room was very nice and clean. The shower over the bath could do with upgrading
The grounds are beautiful and although it was very busy with two weddings and and abundance of golfers there was plenty of staff to accommodate the demand. I would definitely recommend and stay again"
