"He photos are misleading - one feels they are renting a beautiful retreat. It isn’t. The cottage is run down, with a large burn on the dining room table, holes in the sitting room ottoman, and a worn out couch that we all found incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of comfortable seating was the worst part of the stay - either one sits on the worn out couch, or the hard dining room table chairs. "The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, rhe staff was friendly. The hotel is in need of some updating When I tried to showered at 8pm, there was no hot water. There were no face cloths and one hand towel, I'm sure I could have called for more, but the room was booked for 2, just not stocked. In the morning all the water was hot and you couldn't get cold water to come out for brushing your teeth. It's pretty dated, which is fine, but the curtains dont fit the windows, so the street...
