"Loved the art-deco design of the hotel, truly beautiful building including a modern restaurant and bar on-site. Breakfast was excellent, choice wide-ranging from full English to pastries, fruit, fish and cereals. The only gripe, coffee from a machine was not great. The staff were highly professional and helpful. Location perfect for city centre activities like shopping, culture, restaurants and cafes."

"Lovely situation - large room that was clean. However walking in it felt quite down at heel, a bit like a scruffy airport waiting area. We ate in the restaurant on arrival - the food was edible. However, the staff at reception and in the restaurant were welcoming and attentive."

"Stayed 3 nights. Be careful driving on the single track lane towards hotel as there are many potholes. We had room 25 on arrival and asked to be moved due to a vent flowing outside our room. Moved to another room. The bedside light was hanging off and we had no electricity. Moved to another room which was great. The receptionist was very helpful and sorted our needs. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast great. Staff excellent. Location great. Rooms should have been checked better prior to arrival. ...
